CardScan Executive Compatibility
CardScan is only compatible with Windows operating systems. At this
time, we do not support Mac users or other non-Windows environments.
CardScan is designed to offer you a variety of ways to get contact
information where you need it most. We call this Data Exchange. Below is a
brief explanation of how each way works.
For Palm handhelds, Windows Mobile Devices and smart phones
CardScan conduit for Palm
Maintains identical contact information in CardScan and any handheld or
smart phone with Palm software 3.0 or later.
- These include but are not limited to palmOne handhelds, Sony CLIEs
and Treo smart phones
CardScan synchronization with Windows Mobile Devices through Microsoft
ActiveSync:
Maintains identical contact information with any handheld or smart phone
running Microsoft ActiveSync 3.0 or later.
- These include but are not limited to the Dell Axim, HP iPaq, Toshiba
and Viewsonic.
Note: CardScan is not currently compatible with the Orange SPV C500
smart phone.
For Contact Managers and Personal Information Managers (PIMs)*
CardScan Synchronization — maintain identical contact information in
CardScan and these products:

CardScan for CRM and Workgroup Solutions
CardScan for ACT! Premium, CardScan for SalesLogix, CardScan for Microsoft
CRM and CardScan for Salesforce.com have been specifically designed to
work only with those solutions. Data cannot be synchronized, transferred,
exported or imported to any other format. An add-in is available by phone
which will allow you to add synchronization capability to the CardScan
Executive or Team software for ACT! Premium.
CardScan for GoldMine Corporate Edition adds compatibility with those
specific systems to the CardScan Executive or Team software for
synchronization and transfer.
